Online timer
A fast, free online timer that works in any browser. Set the length, press Start, and get a clear alarm when time is up. It is the same engine behind every page on aTimer, including the countdown timer and the Pomodoro timer.
Built for real rooms
- Classrooms: fullscreen mode (press F) turns a projector into a timer every student can read.
- Kitchens: presets for eggs, tea and pasta are one tap away; the repeat option runs intervals.
- Offices: keep meetings on time; the remaining time shows in the browser tab.
- Workouts: use repeat for intervals, or the stopwatch with laps.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between an online timer and a phone timer?
An online timer runs in your browser, so it works on any device with a screen – a laptop, a school smartboard, a TV browser – and it can be shown fullscreen to a whole room.
Can I share a timer link?
Yes. Every preset has its own address, such as atimer.net/15-minute-timer/, and you can add ?m=12 to any page for a custom length.
